SOUS CHEFS AND HEAD CHEF REQUIRED

Description: SOUTHWOLD AREA - SENIOR KITCHEN MEMBERS REQUIRED

Four very popular, high volume but also high quality fresh food venues are looking for new members for their senior kitchen positions

1 x Head Chef

4 x Sous Chef - one of these will be required to be a roving chef between properties

Working within an experienced and dedicated brigade, you will be looking for a stable role with career longevity. You will be passionate about your cuisine and using quality, fresh produce.

You will be expected to maintain the already high standards of this property and it is therefore essential that you come from a similar property. . The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a similar quality establishment.

The suitable candidates for these roles will be confident managing the fast-paced kitchen and the team of 6 chefs. You will need to have shown stability on your CV and have worked in a similar kitchen. you will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen from cooking, ordering, Menu writing, stock rotation, waste management and implementing all health & safety regulations.

You will be expected to produce meals to meet the high standards for which the venues are known for. This role will involve taking control of a section of the kitchen and assisting the more senior chefs when required as well as aiding the development of the junior chefs.

Requirements for these positions:-

NVQ Level 1 and 2 or Equivalent
Food Hygiene Certifications
Good written and spoken English
A flexible attitude
Restaurant or Hotel Background
Good Communication skills
Good Team Player
A real passion for the Industry & and eye for detail
Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
