Key Features of the Role:
Deli Chef working front of house directly to hotel, dining and take away customers.
Manage, train and coach any staff working with you to maintain high service standards.
Deli Chef will carry out food preparation of all seasonal and fresh menu items.
Taking orders, producing breakfast, lunch and dinner items and serving dishes to tables.
Coming up with new menu items maximizing the limited space available to you.
Work full time permanent hours 5 days a week, both split and straight, early and late shifts.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Accomplished Deli Chef is preferred but fresh food Chef or Cook experience will do.
You must be passionate about cooking consistently great award-winning Deli Bar dishes.
Food preparation experience is essential, and comfortable working in a compact kitchen.
Practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
Essential you can communicate respectfully and professionally, supporting the entire team.
Potentially the first person a customer will see on entry to the restaurant and hotel, you need to look presentable, fresh and clean, and be comfortable engaging with guests.

Amazing full-time permanent Deli Chef opportunity in a 5-Star Hotel and fresh food kitchen.
Basic salary for Deli Chef is £8.21ph minimum, increasing to £8.72ph as of the 1st April 2020. If you are under 25 you may be offered a lower hourly rate in accordance with the NMW scale.
Tronc (service charges) available on top of basic salary, as well as Cash Tips.
Working 40-45 hours, 5 days a week, mix of shifts, splits, straights early and late, with some weekends off.
