Our client is a stunning country house hotel in the Blackburn area, who is looking to recruit a Hotel Manager to lead the operations teams in 2020. The company are known to look after their teams and have a solid weddings and events market.
Your New Job
As Hotel Manager, you will report directly into the owners with a view to adopting more responsibility and then progressing on to become the General Manager. You will be a front-line leader of the teams here, ensuring the business is operationally fantastic - Under your leadership, everyone will be well-trained and committed to creating beautiful memories for each and every guest, with all HODs, Supervisors and team members reporting into you.
It will fall to you to ensure rostering and labour controls are in-line and enable the best possible experience for the guests. The successful Hotel Manager will be adept at coaching and developing their teams
Your Experience & Our Requirements
Ideally, you will have worked to Operations Manager / Hotel Manager or General Manager previously, and have come up through the food & beverage side of the industry. You will be used to managing a small team in a hands-on, approachable and commercial way.
If you are someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and are promotion-ready, we would also like to hear from you, as the owners are keen for this position to progress to General Manager status once you have bedded in and have taken ownership of the operation, moving onto more commercial, sales and marketing accountabilities in addition to the above.

You will have the ability to make impactful decisions quickly, too, as the ownership is near at hand to sense-check these before you have built the trust necessary to be able to take on more and more responsibility.
In return for your passion, commitment, reliability and leadership, you will be rewarded with a salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 + a bonus structure TBD at interview stages.
