As Assistant Conference & Events Manager for this bustling hotel and conference venue you will be leading a team of loyal, skilled Conference & Events Co-ordinators, providing direction and leadership to ensure consistent excellent customer service and optimum delivery of all conferences and events.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Conference & Events Manager will include managing the conference and events team and operations during events, face to face interaction with customers and organisers, handling enquiries and problem resolution in an efficient and timely manner, manage team rotas and stock levels.

Leading by example you will be a driving force within the team, focusing on consistent delivery of high quality standards and exceptional customer service.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

Ideally you will have a minimum 2 years' experience within a similar management or supervisory position.

As Assistant Conference & Events Manager you must be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment. You will be well presented, organised and efficient. You will strive for your own personal development and support the development of others within your team. The successful Assistant Conference & Events Manager will possess strong communication skills, be an approachable and dynamic leader, able to build rapport with your new team and develop loyal relationships.
