Your New Job

As Deputy General Manager / Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the profile of the site locally and in a wider sense. You will be expected to be a hands-on leader who REALLY gets a buzz out of the industry and ensuring beautiful memories are created for your guests in a wonderful setting, with high standards, exceptional food and drink including great wines, craft ales and the best brands of bright beers.

This is not a job for the feint-hearted - The site has a high turnover as well as 5* service and environment standards - As such, you will very much be a face of the business and be able to take ownership of the site along with your General Manager, while delivering profitability and customer satisfaction.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

Ideally, you will be very experienced in high-end, independently-owned gastro sites as well as operations with a higher turnover and have a proven track record of success.

You will have VERY high standards, be a consummate communicator and mein host, able to recruit, train and retain the highest calibre individuals and hold training and development in high regard.

You will understand P&Ls and stock control and know how to effectively manage these - Drive the top line and deliver an enviable bottom line from this.

In return for your passion for the art of hospitality, dedication to high standards and ability to deliver on all measures, you will be rewarded with a generous salary of between £24,000 and £28,000 DoE as well as a fantastic benefits package.
