Your New Job
As Conference and Events Manager, you will be a fantastic support to the General Manager. You will be accountable for the smooth operation of all aspects of the Conference & Banqueting / Events. If you are someone who enjoys bringing fresh ideas and improvements, they will be appreciated and put into action.
It will fall to you to ensure rostering and labour controls are in-line and enable the best possible experience for the service-users - There is always a drive for continuous improvement both operationally and financially. The successful Conference & Banqueting / Conference & Events Manager will be adept at coaching and developing their junior managers and their teams as a whole and be gifted at succession-planning.
Your Experience & Our Requirements
Ideally, you will already be a Conference and Events Manager or a Conference and Banqueting Manager within a high-quality and high-volume operation, be that an events space or a hotel-background.
If you are currently a VERY strong Deputy or Assistant Conference and Events Manager who is genuinely ready to take the next step in their career, you may also be considered for this role and it is most certainly worth applying.
In either case, you should be someone who has a proven track record in attention to detail with regards having extremely high standards and delivering a brilliant experience for your guests and service users, as well as being able to bring improvements and efficiencies within a top-notch framework.
