Your New Employer

Our client is a lovely small-to-medium country house hotel in the Lake District National Park, well-recognised for its levels of guest service and is seeking a new General Manager to lead the team.

Your New Job

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the whole operation and report directly into the owners. You will lead the team in a hands-on way and ensure excellent standards of guest care as well as being accountable for the profitability for the site.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

Ideally you will have experience to General Manager level in country house hotels. Alternatively, if you are currently an Operations Manager who is genuinely ready to take the next step in their career and can demonstrate good loyalty in your background, we may also consider your application.

You should be very comfortable leading from the front and being guest-facing and staff-facing, as well as being fully-conversant in back office and booking systems.

In return for your passion, professionalism, knowledge, leadership ability and commercial acumen, you will be rewarded with a salary of between £38,000 and £42,000 DoE.
