Head Chef All Day Dining Brasserie

Hours: 45hrs-50hrs

Shift pattern: To be decided by Head chef depending on how you work the team.

Days: 5/7

Covers: All day dining able to sit 90 covers at once and up to 300 all day depending on bookings, so can be very busy during the day

Team Size: 8 in total, good chefs looking for a good manager/training, team needs someone to push them forward

Duties:

60% Running Kitchen service/Cooking/MEP

20% Admin/Stock control/Ordering/Working with Head Chef

20% Team management

Ideal Candidate:

An experienced chef who is comfortable cooking from scratch with seasonal menu changes. A lot more focus is on your ability to manage/train and develop a team, with the end goal being progression within the company. You'll need to be a people manager who can get the most out of your team and drive them forward during those busy services. There are some long standing employees who need to be pushed a bit more and developed, the café has fallen down in recent years and needs some love BOH
