Our client, a luxury boutique hotel situated in the Manchester area is looking for an Operations Manager who can assist in the running of this high quality hotel. The role will focus on all areas of the venue, including front office, food and beverage, house keeping, weddings and events.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has management experience from a luxury hotels background, and has knowledge across all sectors. A fine dining f&b background is essential, as well as a strong management presence.

The role:

* To assist the GM in all areas of managing this luxury property.
* The ability to take responsibility, oversee all departments of the hotel, and deal with any issues that may arise
* Manage, lead, direct and motivate a team across f&b, reception, house keeping and events
* Be confident overseeing the fine dining restaurant and weddings and functions when required

Experience required:

* The ideal candidate will have previous Managerial experience in a high quality luxury hote, ideally 5 star or red star background
* A strong F&B background, rosettes or Michelin
* Immaculate presentation and customer service skills
* A strong management presence and ability to take on responsibility and deputize for the GM
* You will have a warm and welcoming personality and be excellent conversing with guests
* Experience of managing or supervising bedrooms, housekeeping and reception
* Experience of running weddings and events
* The ability to manage self and work independently is a must
* You must be trustworthy and able to take on responsibility
* The desire to work in a quality environment and a beautiful operation
* The desire to work well as a team, support each other as well as working with a close-knit, good, established team
*The ability to assist in driving the venue forwards via excellent customer service skills

This is a full time position that would equally suit someone who is looking to develop their all-round skills within a luxury hotel environment and be involved in every aspect of the business.

Salary & Package:
Up to £30,000 per annum
