They are seeking a Roving Sous Chef to join their central team to work across all of their 5 sites which are located close to the South Coast in Hampshire. The position is permanent.

Key Features of the Role:
This role forms part of the central team, moving across sites to support the Company’s internal kitchens with cover for holidays, sickness and new openings.
The role will require travel so a driver’s license is essential.
Working hours to suit both parties there is as many hours as a candidate desires all whilst having the security of working directly with an employer who has a proven track record of being a great employer.

Together as a team it's your job to ensure that the customer’s expectations are met and exceeded every time they visit.
The Company is seeking an ambitious and committed individual with a passion for good food who is ready to continue developing their career in a growing hospitality group.
You will be a valued member of the central team assisting Head Chef’s at the various units to produce the best quality results for every customer’s culinary experience, emulating the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
These are very busy working environments, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail.
You’ll be part of a team who helps influence effective kitchen controls and to achieve good gross profit, efficient ordering and stock control as well as driving excellent standards of health and hygiene.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Sous Chef with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level.
Above all you must be a real “foodie” able to spread the word to the Company’s customers about the importance of the art of serving good, fresh and local food in an ever-increasing world where convenience is becoming the norm, they need people who have a love and passion for all things food.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive in very busy bars and restaurants, where the Company’s reputation for consistently preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality, is second to none.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time, having a desire to aim for high standards.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential, with fresh, quality food and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
You must have a full UK Drivers licence and your own reliable transport.

What’s on Offer?
Basic salary will be in a range from £12-13 per hour depending upon experience. In addition you will receive tips.
Working hours to suit both parties, there is as many hours as a candidate desires.
