Sous Chef wanted for an beautiful food lead Inn, set is the heart of the South Somerset countryside, near to Yeovil. The restaurant boasts an excellent reputation for its fresh modern British menus and also for its excellent service. Fresh local ingredients are sourced from neighbouring farmers and their own gardens.
The Inn has two dining rooms and in the summer months caters for approx. 900 covers a week and in quieter months in the region of 350 to 400 covers per week. There are two menus, one Modern British and the other that offers a more traditional English Country Inn feel. Everything is made fresh on site and to the highest standards. Presentation, service and taste are of paramount importance here. This is a very good opportunity to progress your career.
Self contained accommodation is available. The Inn is situated in the countryside and is only a few miles from the local town however, due to its countryside location, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport.
To apply you should have been working in a good quality fresh food kitchen as Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef and you must be comfortable working in a busy professional fresh food kitchen.
Basic Salary is to £30,000 plus bonus and tips which adds £4,500 on top of the basic salary.
