Description: Amazing opportunity for an experienced Receptionist in a beautiful 4 star hotel based in the Tunbridge Wells area. As a receptionist you will always ensure the delivery of high standards of service and help to create fantastic memories for the hotel's guests. You are the first and last person the guests see, you set the tone for the visit and you can ensure that everything has gone above and beyond before they leave.
The hours for this position are 7am-3pm/ 3pm-11pm and then middle shifts where required. Contract is 37.5 hours a week including weekends - overtime available.
Your duties will include:
Manage all check ins/outsConverting telephone enquiries into firm bookings. Processing email, phone and internet bookings, taking and chasing payments.Answering guest queries by phone or email, in line with company policy.Effective call handling, being able to transfer a call to the relevant department and to take and effective message.Up-selling products and services offered by the hotel (opportunities to earn incentives).Requirements:
Previous experience as a Receptionist within the Hospitality Industry.Knowledge of computer applications is essential - Microsoft outlook/excel/office.Be well spoken with excellent written and communication skills.Be self-motivated, maintaining high levels of enthusiasm.If you feel that you have the above relevant skills and experience, please make an application ASAP.
