A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Worcester area for a Sous Chef with outstanding credentials to help lead the kitchen team and food operations at one of the area's leading operators. Serving fully fresh locally and on site sourced food in a beautiful location, this growing business really is one not to be missed. The stunning venue is located in a lovely countryside position near Worcester. With an ethos on fresh British dining, and high quality service in restaurant, this really is a great time to be joining the company. The business which is already established and has been extremely popular in recent times now requires a fresh and driven Sous to help push the site onwards and upwards.
The food you will be developing should be of award winning Rosette standard so a back ground from such like establishments will be very favourable but isn't essential. The owners of the business are very much about giving back to the local area and clientele as such working very closely with them in order to help reflect their style of food and company values will be essential! There is a lot of room to create something special & grow the business here on every level due to the unique opportunity to come on board prior to the sites previous successes. That said this role will be hard work and not for the faint of heart, although stable, the site has so much more potential, the kind of potential only an experienced chef will be able to pull off.
In the Head Chefs absence you will be fully responsible for the kitchen team and be able to manage and motivate effectively. This cracking venue has several arms to its revenue stream on the food and beverage front with the bistro dining room being very busy with locals so a busy and bustling service is a day to day accordance. Having experience in training junior members of the team will be highly advantageous also as this venue is all about progression and helping the team progress, something you will have a key hand in.

You should hold your teams' progression as paramount to their continued growth as a team and as individuals, which can only help the business to thrive.
In return, a generous salary of UP TO £32,000 + an agreed bonus may be offered.
The best candidate for this role will be an existing Sous Chef currently overseeing a fully fresh Gastro, bib gourmand or Rosetted establishment. Someone who has very much been there and done it but is now looking for a similarly engaging and role with one of the best in the area.
