SALARY: £22,000 - £29,000 + BONUS + TIPS

Berkeley Scott is really pleased to be recruiting for this excellent quality, fresh-food offering - We are hoping to recruit a quality Senior Sous Chef to help the team in their wonderful gastro site on the Wirral.
An already established and extremely popular company, these beautiful venues will give you the chance to work for a high end gastro company which own several other units and has accreditations and accolades to their name. Their venues are located in the Cheshire countryside and is surrounded by natural beauty and scenery.
This gastro operation is owned by a small but extremely successful company who already own other successful gastro pubs and with great connections in the industry and a real passion and proven track record, any site the company open is destined to be a success.
Due to expansion of the business and internal moves, the venue needs a new Sous Chef to help lead the team in this busy and high quality kitchen.
You will report directly into the Head Chef and lead a team to deliver excellence across the board. In the Head Chefs absence you will be fully responsible for the kitchen team and be able to manage and motivate effectively.
You should be a Chefs Chef, in having great cooking skills and ideas as well as being able to lead and direct a team under pressure - You should be approachable, able to get on well with and encourage people of all levels at the same time as having the hands on skills in ALL areas of the kitchen to step up and point your brigade in the right direction when the need arises.
In return for all your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with a salary of up to £29,000 as well as lots of other company benefits - The operator is well-known as an industry-leader in terms of looking after its staff.
If you are not already an existing Sous Chef applications are also being sought from Junior Sous Chefs or a Senior Chef de Partie of GREAT standing who are looking for their first appointment to Sous Chef.
