Description: A Chef De Partie is required at this luxurious country Inn. Set in the stunning scenery of the Peak District and is a picturesque country inn at the heart of village life. It offers the charm and character of an historic inn with a contemporary Brasserie Restaurant which is modern, bright and relaxing while the Inn is cosy and inviting. The 14 bedrooms are chic and comfortable.
The Head Chef has a background firmly rooted in the preparation and cooking of the finest ingredients to award winning standards, with an eye on the seasons and being able to call on some of the freshest ingredients from local well known suppliers. There are two dining areas both serving the same menu -the atmospheric bar and the hip brasserie, colourful and funky.
Working within this small talented brigade you will be an individual with a real passion for food. The candidate will be an integral part of the team that are aiming to achieve and maintain the highest of standards.The successful candidate must be flexible, showing commitment with an excellent ability to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. The menu is imaginative, providing a delicious combination of fresh produce with daily specials.
Your duties will include:
Aiding the Senior Chefs in the day to day running of the kitchen
Ensuring the correct standards are in place and if not, to redirect and control.
Up keeping the high standards that are already in place
