Description: A commis Chef is required by this luxurious country house hotel.
This luxurious hotel requires a commis chef at this 2 rosette accredited establishment. Working within a small brigade you will be a keen individual with a real passion for food. The candidate will be an integral part of the team that are aiming to achieve and maintain the highest of standards.
Catering for a wide range of cliental from an intimate dinner to a wedding function for up to 250 guests, the successful candidate must be flexible, showing commitment with an excellent ability to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. The menu is imaginative, providing a delicious combination of fresh produce with daily specials.
Your duties will include:
Aiding the Senior Chefs in the day to day running of the kitchen
Carrying out stock checks
Ensuring the correct standards are in place and if not, to redirect and control.
Up keeping the high standards that are already in place

Qualifications/ Experience required:
Must have NVQ level 1and2 or equivalent and a full understanding of food safety and hygiene. It is also necessary that all applicants have a stable CV with excellent references
