Our client, a beautiful country house hotel situated in the Shropshire area is looking for a Deputy Manager who can assist in the running of this high quality venue.

We are looking for candidates with a strong F&B background, and who have solid experience in a management role ideally from a country house hotel. Yet we are looking for an all-round candidate who can be involved in the management of all departments including overseeing front office and house-keeping.
As Deputy Manager you will also be involved in all area of the business, sales, marketing and profit controls.

This is a hands on management role focusing on all area, but especially FB, including weddings, events, restaurant operations, reception management and housekeeping.

You may be a Duty Manager looking for a step up, or a restaurant or f&b or c&b manager, looking to move up to a more senior managerial role.

Experience required:

* The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Assistant / Duty or Deputy Manager in a small quality hotel.
* You will have a lovely and warm, welcoming personality
* Experience of running weddings and events
* Ideally from an F&B / Restaurant background, fine dining is preferable
* Experience of managing or supervising bedrooms and housekeeping
* The ability to manage self and work independently is a must
* You must be trustworthy and able to take on responsibility
* The desire to work in a quality environment and a beautiful operation
* The desire to work well as a team, support each other as well as working with a close-knit, good, established team
*The ability to assist in driving the venue forwards via excellent customer service and sales & marketing techniques

This is a full time position that would equally suit someone who is looking to develop their all-round skills within a country house hotel environment and be involved in every aspect of the business including operations, events, restaurant management and housekeeping.

Salary: up to £25,000
